Elise Derevjanik is a New York State licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) with advanced certification in perinatal mental health (PMH-C). With over 15 years of experience working in diverse clinical settings, Elise specializes in supporting individuals and families during the transformative period of becoming a parent.

Elise's therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy and understanding, informed by evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and Attachment-Based Therapy. These approaches allow her to provide tailored support that addresses the mental health challenges of parenthood, helping clients navigate the emotional and psychological changes that come with this major life transition.

As a mother herself, Elise brings both personal and professional insight to her work. She is deeply committed to supporting parents in their “birth” as caregivers, offering a safe and nurturing space for them to explore their evolving identities and emotional well-being. Elise believes that supporting parents during this critical time is essential for both their mental health and the well-being of their children. Elise strives to ensure that they receive the care and validation they deserve, so they can thrive as individuals and as parents.
