
Polly is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Community Psychology from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY. She has worked in the counseling field for the past 20 years in a variety of settings. Her experience includes helping those with chronic mental health challenges, trauma, disabilities, pre/post-partum concerns, children and adults within foster care, and with the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as with individuals experiencing anxiety and depression.
Her approach is warm and friendly, and draws from personal life experiences, counseling experience, and solid theories to help you overcome whatever may be holding you back. Counseling modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Therapy. She will tailor your time together based on your specific needs.
